WHAT IS CHILD PATRONAGE?

The first patronage is carried out on the first days of discharge from the maternity hospital, then weekly for up to 1 month, then the child either attends outpatient appointments monthly up to 1 year, or (if an appropriate service agreement is concluded) is examined at home.

It is desirable that the same doctor conduct monthly patronages, so it is easier to assess the pace of the child's development. If the doctor is new, he should familiarize himself with the anamnesis and developmental features of the child.

Monthly patronage includes anthropometric measurements, assessment of the physical and neuropsychic state, in accordance with the age of the child. If necessary, laboratory or functional methods of examination, examinations by specialists, necessary therapy are prescribed. The doctor gives recommendations on the daily routine, nutrition, gymnastics, etc., in accordance with the age of the child.

FIRST PATRONAGE OF THE DOCTOR

The birth of a child is a joyful and happy event for every family. However, in the first weeks of a baby's life, all parents face a number of tasks: they worry about his well-being, learn to care for the child, feed and carry out hygiene procedures. After all, his health and well-being in the future largely depend on the proper care of the baby.

The purpose of the first patronage of a child is a comprehensive assessment of the health of the newborn, taking into account the history, examination, and determination of living conditions. A comprehensive assessment allows you to identify risk groups for the development of possible diseases. And, based on the risks, a plan for further monitoring and examination of the child is drawn up. For example, a healthy child will be given a blood test by the age of 3 months, and a child at risk for anemia at 1 month, an ophthalmologist examines a healthy child at 1 month, and a newborn with signs of dacryocystitis earlier, if pathology is detected.

The doctor should give recommendations on care, daily routine, feeding and organization of living conditions. Before the doctor arrives, prepare your questions and prepare a pen and notebook where you will write down the doctor's recommendations and advice.

COMPLEX PROGRAMS FROM 1-2 AND 2-3 YEARS OF A BABY

We take a comprehensive approach to the issues of children's health, so as not to treat diseases, but to prevent them, to raise children healthy! That is why we have developed child monitoring programs based on state standards.

Benefits of concluding an observation program:

  • You get an attached pediatrician and the ability to contact your doctor by phone at any time, day or night.

  • The terms for receiving consultations and examinations included in the program may change at the request of the patient or according to indications.

  • Vaccination of a child is carried out according to an individual schedule with imported vaccines (the cost of vaccines is paid additionally).

  • Our administrator will remind you of the timeliness of the examinations and make an appointment at a convenient time for you.  It is important to remember that the comprehensive monitoring of the program will help prevent, not just treat the disease.
