TREATMENT OF ENT DISEASES

Treatment will be prescribed to you immediately - based on the data of the initial examination. At the second appointment, the ENT doctor, having received the results of instrumental and laboratory diagnostics, will, if necessary, make changes in order to achieve the maximum result in the shortest possible time. Treatment prescribed may include methods such as:

  • drug therapy for ENT diseases.

  • Hardware washing of the nose with rhinitis and sinusitis.

  • Washing the lacunae of the tonsils, which allows you to quickly stop the exacerbation of chronic tonsillitis.

  • Pneumomassage of the tympanic membrane with eustachitis and hearing loss.

  • Ear blowing according to Politzer for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.

  • Washing the ear to remove a foreign body in the ear or to remove cerumen.

  • Puncture of the sinus with sinusitis, followed by washing and the introduction of anti-inflammatory drugs.

  • Polypotomy - removal of polyps of the nasal cavity and nasopharynx.

  • Septoplasty is a surgical intervention to eliminate defects of the nasal septum in case of its curvature, perforation, chronic nasal breathing disorder, frequent colds and nosebleeds.

  • Adenotomy - removal of the nasopharyngeal tonsils (performed in a state of medical sleep using the Surgitron radio wave apparatus).

  • Tonsillotomy - partial removal of the palatine tonsils with their hypertrophy and respiratory failure.

It should not be overlooked that making an appointment with an otolaryngologist immediately after the first symptoms appear will help to start treatment on time, which will speed up recovery and reduce the risk of complications.
