WHAT DISEASES DOES THE GYNECOLOGIST TREAT?

An appointment with a gynecologist should be made in case of first-time complaints or in chronic processes of the reproductive system. Patients with previously diagnosed diseases should be under the supervision of a competent specialist to prevent possible exacerbations and complications.

Specialist consultation will be needed under the following conditions:

  • Inflammation of different parts of the female reproductive system (salpingitis, endometritis, adnexitis);

  • Diseases of the uterus, cervix (endometriosis, erosion, polyps);

  • Polycystic, single ovarian cysts and other hormonal disorders;

  • Infectious diseases (viral, fungal, parasitic);

  • Benign tumors (myoma, fibroma);

  • cancerous tumors;

  • Pregnancy management;

  • Various causes of infertility;

  • climacteric syndrome;

  • Gynecological injuries (for example, after childbirth); In parallel, therapy for diseases caused by injuries is carried out.

SYMPTOMS WITH WHICH APPLY TO THE GYNECOLOGIST

For preventive purposes, an examination by a specialist should be carried out at least once a year. A gynecologist at DOCTOR 52 will conduct a thorough examination for the timely detection and effective treatment of even an asymptomatic disease.

There is no need to postpone a visit to the hospital if you are concerned about the following:

  • Violation of the menstrual cycle: irregular cycle; copious or scanty discharge; severe pain syndrome against the background of menstruation; delayed puberty (absence of menstruation in girls 15 years and older); intermenstrual bleeding.

  • Causeless pain in the lower abdomen.

  • Unsuccessful attempts to get pregnant against the background of regular sexual activity during the year.

  • Unpleasant sensations in the genital area: itching, burning, pathological discharge. Including when urinating.

  • Discomfort during intercourse.

  • The first signs of menopause: a feeling of heat, hot flashes, increased blood pressure.

  • Thickening or discoloration of the skin in the genital or breast area, change in the appearance of the areola of the nipple.
